Viking Malt was formed in 2002 when the three experienced malting companies, Lahden Polttimo in Finland, Svenska Malt in Sweden and Litmalt in Lithuania joined forces and became one operative company to better serve our customer's.

Viking Malt subscribe to a philosophy according to which technology should always be supported by a depth of knowledge and a basic understanding of our customers needs. In order to achieve this aim, we are committed to hold a continuous and intense dialogue with you on a day-to-day basis. By actively developing and exchanging know-how, we strive to meet each customer's individual needs and continually enhance our role as front-runners in the fine art of malting.

Viking Malt is partly owned by farmers and they as well as we know that your process requires the best raw materials. The climate in the Viking Malt countries is excellent for production of barley and farmers are dedicated to continue toward further specializing in locally grown malting barley.
