Pilot brewery and laboratory services

We want to help you make beers that people tell stories about. To turn that ambition into reality, Viking Malt's modern pilot brewing unit in Lahti, Finland, is at your service. We brew beers and other beverages for our customers for R&D purposes, in addition to our own brews and tests.

Brewing services

We can brew up to 70–80 liters of any kind of beer (or other beverage) and have experience in brewing lagers, ales,
and porters, just to name a few, from all raw material types.

Laboratory services

We have fully equipped quality control laboratories at each Viking Malt production site, in Halmstad, Lahti and Panevezys. Our laboratories provide you a wide range of barley and malt analyses according to Analytica EBC, IOB and ASBC.
In addition, the laboratory in Lahti does a wide range of analyses used by cereal and food industries, including baker’s yeast and other microbiological analyses.
